Tools:
- flat head screw driver
- #8 and #10 socket, wrench
- silicone grease
- Remove wheel
- Remove brake disc cover with wrench/socket #10
- Push caliper pistons all the way in to allow installation for new brake pads. Check the brake fluid lever in the brake master cylinder on your steering wheel. This operation causes the level to rise.
- Remove pin with socket #8 and pad spring.
- Wash everything with brake cleaner.
- Install pad spring.
- Install new pads to the pad retainer
- Apply some silicone grease to the pin o-ring, torque it with 13lbf-ft
- Install brake disc cover, torque 9lbf-ft
I used EBC MX-S brake pads, so far so good
As you can see here, I didn't have much left in old brake pads
